Plungė kindergarten “Vyturėlis” (Lithuania) organized a methodical day, during which our project was presented, activities on the topic of nature conservation were demostrated to preschool teachers of the city and district. Teachers – scientists were worried about the pollution of nature and asked the children for help. The children had to rescue animals frozen in ice. Later they were invited to discuss natural phenomena: wind, sky light, drought, snow, volcanic eruption, etc. They learned how is one or another natural phenomena formed and how do they affect people, plants, and animals. The scientists offered children various activities using the STEAM method.
